Alex Schafran recently completed his PHD in City & Regional Planning at the University of California, Berkeley. He is a visiting researcher at Institut Fran莽ais de G茅opolitique, Universit茅 de Paris 8 and teaches in the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), Sciences Po. His work has appeared in the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research, Urban Geography, and Environment and Planning A, and most recently as a chapter in Des Fronti猫res ind茅passables? Editions Armand Colin.
