Along with the , SSHRC,and McMaster University, 91亚色 will host , city hall reporter at The Grid for his talk, 鈥淪t. Clair West: The Building Blocks of Urban Vitality.鈥 Keenan will discuss his observations about the recent political history of Toronto as well as his thoughts on the importance of community in areas like St. Clair West within the future of Toronto鈥檚 Megacity.
The talk is part of 鈥淯rban Transformations: The Past, Present, and Future of St. Clair West,鈥 focusing on understanding urban life along St. Clair Avenue West, while placing its story in the contexts of Toronto, Canada, and urban change worldwide. Other events include The Wychwood Barns鈥 Peter MacKendrick Community Gallery exhibition, 鈥淭imed Exposures: St. Clair West,鈥 and a guided walking tour of the area鈥檚 historic and architecturally significant sites on Sunday June 22nd from 10:30am-12:30pm as part of Heritage Toronto鈥檚 walk series.
The free talk takes place at the renovated Artscape Wychwood Barns, . Doors open 7pm and the talk begins 8pm. A cash bar will be on site.
