The Intensive Online Course is a comprehensive 12-week program beginning in September 2024 with a specialized focus on safe water supply in humanitarian emergencies. The course will cover topics such as water quality assessment, source development, treatment methods, distribution, and outbreak preparedness.
Combining curated readings, interactive lectures, and problem-based learning (PBL) activities guided by experienced facilitators, this innovative course is ideal for WASH practitioners, engineers, and graduate students looking to develop essential skills for real-world applications in humanitarian contexts.
鈥The flow and the blending of the engineering fundamentals and field applications were well done. The case studies were well crafted and depict real life situations in the field. This made the team engagement very real. The guidance given by the facilitators was amazing. I have used the knowledge from the course to improve my WASH engagements in the field.鈥
