Planetary Health Perspectives and Implications of COVID-19
Nevertheless, the spread of COVID-19 is causing unprecedented direct and indirect risk on non-linearly related complex adaptive systems of the social, political, economic, knowledge/technological and environmental realms which can be framed by the concept of planetary health (Whitmee et al., 2015). Understanding the perspectives and implications of COVID-19 in terms of a planetary health context is important to manage and take action against the financial, political, social and environmental ramifications associated with it.
