Job Title: Experiential Learning in Global Health Research Assistant (three positions available)

Job description
Under the supervision of Prof. Mary Wiktorowicz, Prof. A.M. Viens, and Dr. Emmanuel Musa, the research assistant (6 hours per week) will support the social media marketing, videography, photography, design and implementation of experiential learning in global health through the World Health Assembly Simulations 2025. The development of simulation-based learning is a form of experiential learning that provides learners the opportunity to apply their knowledge, understanding, and skills in a realistic and hands-on real-world environment.
Specific research activities the research assistants (s) will be engaged in:
鈥 Support the design and implementation of global health simulations
鈥 Support simulation learning objectives/outcomes
鈥 Support the development of a simulation-based experiential learning faculty toolkit
鈥 Support the development of a simulation facilitator training manual
鈥 Participation in regular project team meetings
鈥 Providing administrative and logistic support as required
鈥 Creating and managing database of relevant research and educational materials
鈥 Draft summary documents outlining key research findings and project design elements
鈥 Conducting research materials search, compilation, and synthesis
Qualifications

鈥 Ability and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team with researchers, students, and other team members
鈥 Excellent computer skills (word processing, email, spreadsheets, social media)
鈥 Demonstrated research skills and experience (e.g., conducting literature reviews)
