
Eleine graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the State University of Londrina (2003). Master's degree in Animal Science, with a concentration in Animal Health, from the State University of Londrina (2006). Ph.D. in the Postgraduate Program in Applied Experimental Epidemiology to Zoonoses from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at the University of São Paulo (FMVZ-USP), with a Sandwich Doctorate period at The Ohio State University, Columbus, United States. Currently, she is a professor in the Postgraduate Course in Biodiversity and teach Veterinary Microbiology, Infectious Diseases in Animals, and Public Health at the Regional University Foundation of Blumenau (FURB). Eleine has experience in Preventive Veterinary Medicine, Microbiology, and Infectious Diseases of animals. She is the Coordinator of the Veterinary Clinical Laboratory at FURB, and develops research projects in Bacterial Zoonoses Epidemiology and Surveillance of Bacterial Antimicrobial Resistance with an emphasis on One Health. Eleine participate as a member of the Brazilian Committee for Antimicrobial Sensitivity Testing (BrCast, Veterinary Medicine Subcommittee).
