
Farzana Khalid is a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in the Global Health program at 91ÑÇÉ« and a TB Initiative Research Assistant at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research under the supervision of Dr. Daftary. She has a strong interest in global public health and health equity.
In her current role, Farzana supports the Social Science and Health Innovations for TB (SSHIFTB) network through website management, newsletter content creation, and digital communications that help translate global health research for diverse audiences. She also contributes to research dissemination activities, including literature review and content synthesis within global health contexts, and assists in developing accessible knowledge translation outputs that support the communication of tuberculosis research to international and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Through this position, she works within an interdisciplinary and international research team focused on advancing equitable approaches to tuberculosis prevention and care.
