Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow, TB Initiative
Research Team

Jody Boffa is a community-based researcher and epidemiologist with expertise in tuberculosis (TB) and TB-HIV. She has worked in South Africa since 2013, collaborating with the Desmond Tutu TB Centre at Stellenbosch University and the Human Sciences Research Council. Her research interests include knowledge translation, TB preventive therapy, quality of care utilising the standardized patient methodology, and TB care and support in collaboration with faith-based communities. Jody is a Research Fellow with the Centre for Rural Health at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa and an affiliate of the McGill International TB Centre.
