
Kanako is currently pursuing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Global Health. Under the supervision of Prof. Martin Bunch, she is working on undertaking statistical analyses of occupational health data of agricultural workers in Southern Costa Rica. Her research interests include epidemiology, public health, infectious disease, and maternal health.
Beyond research at Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research, she works as a program supervisor at a local community centre focusing on improving community health and wellbeing.
