
Ria Saraiya is entering her fourth year in the Bachelor of Design Honors program at 91ÑÇÉ«. She is a Research Assistant working under the supervision of Dr. Shital Desai on the project Designing Communication Interventions to Enhance Social Connectedness in People with Dementia and Their Caregivers. Together with team member Sheryl Peris, she is currently conducting a literature review, examining academic research, technologies, existing interventions, and theoretical frameworks related to the project. This work is grounded in a commitment to inclusive, human-centered approaches in global health and humanitarian design.
