The 2026 International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2026) is delighted to announce  as a Gold Sponsor.

At Flowenti, artificial intelligence isn't an add-on applied to a single step of a business process—it is embedded throughout the entire process lifecycle. From the initial design and modeling of a process, through day-to-day execution, monitoring, analysis, and continuous improvement, intelligence is present at every stage. This creates a connected experience in which AI can understand not only individual tasks, but also the broader context, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes that shape how work gets done.

During process design, Flowenti helps teams translate business requirements into effective process models, identify potential bottlenecks, and explore opportunities for automation and improvement. Once processes are running, AI can support execution by helping users navigate work, interpret information, surface exceptions, and make context-aware decisions. As process data accumulates, Flowenti turns operational activity into actionable insights—helping organizations understand what is happening, why it is happening, and where intervention can create the greatest impact.

The 2026 International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2026) is excited to welcome  as a Gold Sponsor.

ARIS is the process context platform for Enterprise AI, helping organizations understand, improve, and govern how work gets done across the enterprise. As organizations move beyond experimentation with AI, success depends on more than deploying individual AI solutions—it requires a clear understanding of business processes, operational context, data, controls, and governance.

ARIS brings process mining, process modeling, simulation, workflow orchestration, and governance together in a single, unified platform. This enables organizations to create a connected view of their processes, identify opportunities for improvement, test potential changes, orchestrate work, and continuously monitor performance. By providing the process context AI needs, ARIS helps organizations connect AI initiatives to real business operations and outcomes.

The 2026 International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2026) is delighted to announce  as an official Platinum Sponsor.

SAP Signavio represents one of the most remarkable success stories to emerge from the BPM community. The company originated as a spin-off from the Hasso Plattner Institute, where co-founder and former CEO Dr. Gero Decker completed his PhD in BPM. During this time, he worked closely with Professor Mathias Weske, one of the leading figures in the international BPM research community. Following its acquisition by SAP, Signavio has evolved into a globally recognized platform for business process transformation, helping organizations understand, improve and innovate their business processes at scale.

Given these deep roots in the BPM community, SAP Signavio has maintained a longstanding relationship with the BPM Conference and has been a valued supporter over many years. We are proud to welcome the company back as a Platinum Sponsor for BPM 2026.

In addition to its sponsorship, the SAP Signavio team will host a masterclass on Thursday, Oct. 1, titled Data/Atoms-Driven Process Simulation. Presented by Majid Rafiei, technical product manager and senior researcher at SAP SE, the session will provide participants with valuable insights into emerging approaches to process simulation, process atoms and data-driven process innovation.

We sincerely thank SAP Signavio for its continued support and look forward to their contributions to BPM 2026.

The BPM 2026 organizing committee is pleased to welcome Tom Davenport as a keynote speaker at the 2026 International Conference on Business Process Management, hosted by 91ÑÇɫ.

His keynote, “The Marriage of Process and AI,” will address one of the central questions facing organizations today: how to realize the value of artificial intelligence not simply by adopting new tools, but by rethinking the business processes in which those tools operate.

Davenport has long shaped how researchers and practitioners think about process, analytics and technology-enabled organizational change. His work on business process redesign and analytics has influenced both academic research and managerial practice, and his recent writing has focused directly on the relationship between AI, process management and organizational performance.

“We are delighted to welcome Tom Davenport to BPM 2026,” said Arik Senderovich, assistant professor in ITEC and co-chair of the conference. “For many of us in the BPM community, Davenport’s work is not just background reading, it is part of how we teach and define the field. In my own BPM course, the fifth slide introduces the question ‘what is a business process?’ using Davenport’s definition. Having him speak at BPM 2026, especially on the connection between process and AI, is both timely and meaningful.”

Drawing on decades of research and practice, Davenport will discuss why AI initiatives often fall short when they are disconnected from process redesign. He will outline a renewed approach to business process reengineering, examine the organizational obstacles that slow AI adoption, and highlight how early adopters are bringing together process thinking, analytics and AI capabilities.

The keynote will also explore the role of AI in incremental process improvement and the growing importance of process intelligence in linking AI initiatives to measurable organizational outcomes.

The 2026 BPM Conference will feature Emmanuelle Vaast, Desautels Chair in Digital Technology Management and professor of Information Systems at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University, as a keynote speaker.

In her keynote address, Vaast will examine how the growing availability of digital trace data is reshaping research on organizational processes. Organizations increasingly generate detailed digital records of decision‑making, work and coordination, creating new opportunities to analyze how processes unfold. At the same time, Vaast argues, these digital traces raise important questions about how organizational processes are represented, interpreted and understood.

“Emmanuelle Vaast’s expertise in digital trace data and organizational processes makes her an exciting addition to this year’s keynote program,” says Ravi de Costa, associate dean, research, LA&PS. “Her work shows how emerging data sources are reshaping the ways we are able to study and understand organizational life, and we look forward to the critical insights she will share with our community.”

Drawing on scholarship in digital technologies, organizing and process theory, Vaast will explore how trace data are produced through specific technologies, infrastructures and categorizations that shape which aspects of organizational processes become visible.

Join this keynote examining how digital trace data is reshaping the study of organizational processes and practices.
