Glendon Historical Tour
Glendon’s gardens are a core part of the campus’s identity. These green spaces are the legacy of generations of people who worked, transformed, and preserved the landscape we know and love today. Whether you’re a new student or have been a part of the Glendon community for years, you’ve likely heard about the Wood family’s gardens and orchards, but there is so much more to the story of Glendon than just one family.
We invite you to join us for a walking tour of Glendon. We will explore the effects of colonization on the natural world, the tensions between environmental preservation and development, and the changing ways people have understood their relationships with the natural world.
📍 Meeting point: Centre of Excellence front lobby
✨ We will gather there before heading outside. All are welcome! No registration required.
