Arriving at Glendon

Welcome to Glendon! Whether you are joining us in the Fall or Winter term, the resources below will help you prepare for your arrival in Canada and your transition to student life at Glendon.

Pre-departure Preparations

Have you decided where you will live once you arrive in Canada? Living in residence is a great way to become involved in academic and campus life while building connections with other students. It can also help reduce the stress of finding accommodation in Toronto’s competitive rental market.

Glendon offers two on-campus residence options: Wood Residence and Hilliard Residence. Residence opens to first-year students on Sunday August 30th.

To apply for residence, please visit 91ÑÇÉ« Housing Services – Apply for Residence. Move-in information and residence dates are updated regularly on the Housing website.

As an international student, you may need a Study Permit to enter and remain in Canada during the duration of your study. See further information on 91ÑÇÉ« International website.

International students at 91ÑÇÉ« are automatically enrolled in the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), which provides basic medical coverage while studying in Canada.

As a 91ÑÇÉ« student, you are also covered by the extended (sometimes known as supplementary) plan administered by the 91ÑÇÉ« Federation of Students (YFS).  You can learn more about the YFS Health plan here.
