Ethical Research Decision-Making: Building Professional Judgment Across Career Paths (Faculty of Graduate Studies)

This workshop is designed for graduate students and postdoctoral scholars who want to strengthen their ability to navigate ethical challenges in research and professional practice. While responsible conduct of research is often presented through policies and regulations, researchers frequently encounter situations where the "right" course of action is not immediately clear. These complex scenarios require thoughtful judgment, critical reflection, and the ability to articulate and defend ethical decisions.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have greater confidence in navigating ethically challenging situations and a stronger foundation for responsible leadership in research and professional environments. The skills developed are relevant across disciplines and career paths, supporting participants in becoming thoughtful, reflective, and ethically grounded professionals.

When: Wednesday, January 20 2027 from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
