Each year, the Faculty of Health recognizes exceptional graduating students through the following prestigious medals awards:
Gold Medal for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership
Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health who has demonstrated academic excellence and outstanding contributions to undergraduate student life at 91ÑÇÉ«.
Silver Medal for Outstanding Leadership
Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and potential through involvement and initiative in Faculty of Health organizations and activities.
Silver Medal for Academic Merit
Awarded to a graduating undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health for outstanding academic achievement. The medal is presented to the student with the highest cumulative grade point average in the graduating class.
Eligibility:
Students who are eligible to graduate at the October 2026, February 2027, or June 2027 Convocation ceremonies may be considered for these awards.
Nomination Process:
- Students seeking considered for the Gold Medal for Academic Excellence and Outstanding Leadership or the Silver Medal for Outstanding Leadership must submit a by Friday, January 29, 2027.
- Your School or Department will review submissions and identify eligible nominees.
- The School or Department will prepare and submit nomination package on behalf of selected nominees.
- Nomination packages are reviewed by the Faculty of Health Committee on Examinations and Academic Standards.
Note: The Silver Medal for Academic Merit is awarded based on academic standing and does not require a statement of interest or nomination from a school/department..
