Anferny is a data scientist and a community-builder with an indefinite passion for education, so he decided to co-find Dataraction with Dr. Zhicong Lu (Ph.D. in CS grad from U of Toronto and an award-winning Human-Computer Interaction researcher) two years ago. They want to democratize education by making learning and networking more interactive. Their current target customers are case competition organizers and schools that believe in applied learning. Prior to getting into the education space in 2014, Anferny had been an investment professional for 7 years and a FinTech startup founder for 2 years. He then mastered Python and got into analytics consulting in 2017. He obtained his MBA degree from the Schulich School of Business (91ÑÇÉ«), MMA degree from the Smith School of Business (Queen's), and executive certificate in analytics (HBAP) from the Harvard Business School. He has been servicing as an executive member at the Harvard Business School Club of Toronto where he co-leads tech, entrepreneurship, and analytics events for the club since 2018.
