Faculty of Education, B.Ed., Primary/Junior
Throughout my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to participate in the Children, Childhood & Youth program, which proved invaluable in knowledge acquisition and community involvement. Advocacy work and school initiatives were among the opportunities I was able to engage in, thanks to the program's commitment to its students' success. Also, pursuing a minor in psychology further enriched my experience, equipping me with tools to positively impact the lives of young people and gain a comprehensive understanding of human behaviour that will benefit my future work as an educator. Over the past six years, my professors have nurtured my passion for this field of study and encouraged me to seek meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom, ultimately leading me to become an empowering educator and professional coach.
I am thrilled to announce that by June 2024, I will have completed my BEd program and obtained an Ontario Certified Teacher certification. This achievement represents an exciting opportunity to utilize the invaluable knowledge I gained through my studies in Children, Childhood and Youth, with a minor in Psychology, and apply it to my future teaching endeavours. I aim to foster a supportive and constructive learning environment where my students and I can develop and flourish together.
