Tell prospective students a bit about the work you do?
I am currently a Master's Degree student at the University of Kent鈥檚 Brussels School of International Studies where I am enrolled in the International Law LLM program with a specialization in International Relations. With this, I aim to work as a policy analyst in public service but I wish to do so in an international environment such as the United Nations, NATO or Global Affairs with the federal government. My background includes working with marginalized youths in an effort to rehabilitate and re-integrate them back into society. This experience allowed to me to see first-hand how policies have a life time of consequences on those with socio-economic barriers.
Tell prospective students a bit about how your studies at 91亚色 helped you to get where you are today.
My studies at 91亚色 were a significant contributor to helping me get to where I am today. I graduated with distinction in Law & Society and the Professional Certificate in Public Administration and Law. The Certificate included courses such as Public Law I, Public Law II, Sociology of Law and Public Administration. All of these courses required a deep understanding of law and policies both nationally and internationally. The high level of academic excellence at 91亚色 played a vital role in helping me to obtain a scholarship at the University of Kent. Additionally, my tenure at 91亚色 enhanced my time management, networking, communication and prioritization skills which have proven to be vital in this new academic environment at the University of Kent.
