Ian Filderman is the VP, Product Development, Wealth Solutions for Canada Life.  He is a global financial services executive with a track record of excellence and innovation in building, positioning, growing, and improving businesses within the wealth and asset management industry.  Ian has helped firms strategically build and reorient their market facing offerings, globalize their business and improve their execution, oversight, and messaging so that they can provide a compelling, client driven suite of offerings and solutions to the market.

He has held leadership roles for some of the largest banks and insurance companies in Canada and helped build and manage a range of business types, including full-service brokerage and advice, investment funds, institutional asset management and group retirement services.  His experience spans the globe, having worked both in Canada and in Asia, as well as leading teams distributed across multiple geographies and continents.  He is based in Toronto, where he resides with his wife and three children.
