Marlon Gullusci
Teaching Assistant, 91亚色
Urban Studies 2019
My time at 91亚色 was filled with an eclectic mixture of experiences that provided me with the opportunity to grow personally and develop a strong network. 91亚色 has so many experiences to offer and it really stands apart as a University.
The school has allowed me to grow myself in so many areas, the dedicated professors in my program have prepared and encouraged me in pursuing a Graduate Degree and a career in urban planning, the incredible number of clubs and organizations have supported me in developing a strong network, and the many employment opportunities have afforded me the chance to gain valuable work experience while pursuing multiple degrees.
During one of my first lectures, a professor noted that there was a difference between space and place. Space is a location without meaning, but it becomes a place when it has been given meaning. I began to understand that 91亚色 is a more than just an educational institution, it is a place with various meanings we students, staff, and faculty give to it. The advice I would give is to get involved, because once you get involved in one or more of our campus communities, you will become a part of that meaning.
