Tanya Piazza-Hughes
VP, HR & Administrator, CAST CONNEX
Human Resources Management, Bachelor of Human Resources Management (BHRM) 2006
Tanya Piazza-Hughes is a collaborator, coach, people leader, and imperfect human who has spent more than two decades supporting organizations cultivate cultures of belonging, accountability, and care. Passionate about understanding how systems and relationships shape human experience, she is committed to creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive through deep listening, genuine care, and shared responsibility.
Tanya brings a human-led perspective to her work, writing, and leadership, grounded in the belief that curiosity, compassion, and accountability are essential to healing, meaningful change, and minimizing harm. Her contribution to Sanctuary Harm reflects a longstanding commitment to closing the gap between intention and impact because awareness without action is just a well-informed stalemate, and reducing harm requires more than good intentions. It demands courage, accountability, and a willingness to do the work of creating the conditions where people can truly experience safety at work.
