Anti-Asian racism has been聽present in Canada for centuries. It is deeply rooted in the historical formation of Canada through the聽Chinese head tax,聽Japanese internment camps, the聽Electoral Franchise Act, which聽explicitly denied Chinese Canadians the right to vote, and聽more. It is embedded within the minds of Canadians.
