Adam Payler

Adam Payler has over a decade of experience in Canada and the UK across academia and local government, including advisory and managerial roles in both corporate and operational contexts. In his current role at the Town of Caledon, he advances innovation-focused, cross-functional initiatives that further organizational priorities and support new ways of working.
His dual corporate and operational perspective informs his approach to complex municipal initiatives and has also guided his doctoral research at the Institute of Local Government Studies at the University of Birmingham, which examines the relationships between politicians and administrators and the informal rules that govern that space.
Adam holds an MPA in Local Government and an MA in American Studies, Canada-US relations, both from Western University, and a BA in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.
