Claudia Wex
Intergovernmental Relations Advisor, Town of Caledon
Claudia Wex is an Intergovernmental Relations Advisor with the Town of Caledon, where she leads the Town's centralized grants program and provides strategic advice across the organization to support competitive funding applications. Through strong cross-departmental collaboration, Claudia helps position projects for funding success by identifying opportunities, aligning initiatives with program priorities, and leading the grant application process from start to finish.
Drawing on experience in advocacy, stakeholder engagement and government relations from the private sector, Claudia brings a strong understanding of how public, private and community interests intersect to shape policy, infrastructure investment and economic development outcomes. Since joining the Town, she has contributed to strengthening grant development processes, advancing strategic funding priorities and positioning municipal projects to leverage external investment in support of Caledon's long-term growth objectives.
Claudia holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Environment and Business (MEB) from the University of Waterloo.
