Registration fee paid in advance via the registration page: $30 for all attendees. Speakers are admitted free of charge. This fee includes light breakfast, buffet lunch and coffee breaks. Please note that no on site cash registrations will be accepted.

By car:
Driving directions are provided on the 91亚色 Map [PDF]. The two best routes to campus are driving North on Highway 400 to Steeles Ave W, then heading East on Steeles Ave W to Murray Ross Pkwy, OR driving North on Keele St to Steeles Ave W, then heading W on Steeles Ave W to Founders Road. Parking lots are noted on the map, along with the location of the meeting (Building #90 on the map: Life Science Building - Lobby and Room 106).
By Subway:
Take the subway (Line 1 University) to 91亚色 Station. Walk down Campus Walk towards Building #90 on the map: Life Science Building - Lobby and Room 106.

Poster and abstract submission guidelines
Poster Guidelines
We kindly ask that the dimensions of your poster DO NOT exceed 4 feet in width and 3 feet in height, in order to fit on the poster boards at the event.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
The information submitted will be included in the official proceedings of MHAD. Please note the following: Your abstract must include the following information: Abstract title, Author(s) name(s), Author(s) affiliation(s). Please include a link to your lab(s) website(s) that people may click to view from the MHAD proceedings. Formatting: Times New Roman 12pt font, single spacing, 350 word count maximum (main text of abstract, not including title, authors, and affiliations). Please name your submission using the following guidelines: last name_first name_first author status_MHAD. Note: first author status (undergrad, MSc, PhD, Post- Doc). Deadlines for abstract submission for a poster presentation
- Registrations must be submitted by Wednesday April 22, 2026 midnight. This deadline is required to help us inform the caterer of the total number of attendees
- To be considered for a Poster Award, you must be currently enrolled in an Undergraduate, MSc or PhD program, or be a Post-Doctoral Fellow, and your abstract must be submitted by Wednesday April 22,2026 at 4:00pm EST. All abstracts submitted by this date and time will be considered for the 1 of 6 available Poster Awards that will be given out at the end of the day. The criteria for the selection process are available here.
- To be included in the MHAD17 Conference Proceedings, abstracts must be submitted by Wednesday April 22, 2026 by midnight. Abstracts submitted after this time WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
