91ÑÇÉ« mourns former Chancellor, esteemed philanthropist Avie Bennett
On behalf of 91ÑÇÉ«, I would like to express my deepest condolences on the loss of Avie Bennett, former Chancellor of 91ÑÇÉ«, and esteemed philanthropist, business person, and publisher.
As Chancellor, and as an individual, his commitment to excellence, improved access to post-secondary education, and social responsibility were unwavering. He also had an unparalleled commitment to students and their wellbeing and represented the best spirit of 91ÑÇÉ«.
With the numerous Bennett Scholarships, he has left a legacy that will serve future students for years to come. Avie Bennett was kind, generous, and humble. He will be greatly missed.
