Announcing the winners of Canada's inaugural IP Writing Challenge

Professor Giuseppina D'Agostino is the Founder and Director IP Osgoode.
Michel Gérin is the Executive Director of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada.

IP Osgoode and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada are proud to announce the winners of :

1. Law student category - Kiernan Murphy,

2. Graduate student category - Régine Tremblay,Ìý

3. Professional category - Anna Wilkinson,

We were very pleased to receiveÌýentriesÌýfrom a broad spectrum of backgrounds and institutions from across CanadaÌý(for example, students from 9 different law schools participated).Ìý A broad range ofÌýsubject matterÌýwas covered by the papers, including patents, copyright, traditional knowledge, new media, pharmaceutical drugs and more.ÌýÌýÌýÌý

All three winners will be receiving a prize of $1000 (CAD) and will have their articles considered for publication in the Canadian Intellectual Property Review and the Osgoode Hall Review of Law and Policy (OHRLP).
