The Good Food Collective was started as a collaboration between theÌý,Ìý, andÌý. The collective has three pillars:
Workshops, Training & Education:ÌýProviding workshops and food skills sessions to community members
Food Access -ÌýCommunity Lunches:Ìýproviding low-no cost community lunches, sourcing local ingredients, featuring ethnic/culturally diverse foods, providing opportunities for neighbours to break bread with one another, and to learn about available community services and supports while engaging in a healthy, holistic and locally sourced meal.
Food Enterprise - World of Flavours Catering:Ìýa catering collective providing catering and food sales featuring a menu with many ethnic components. Community members are engaged to join the collective if they are interested in exploring food as an opportunity to gain income and economic opportunities.
