요크대는『한국을 세계로, 세계를 한국학으로(Korea in the World, the World in Korean Studies)』(연구책임자: 박현옥 교수) 과제로 2018년부터 5년 간 해외한국학 중핵대학 육성사업을 수행한다. 그 일환으로 연구팀은 지난 2월 1일 한국학 교육 진흥 연구소(Korean Office for Research and Education, KORE)를 개소하였다.

91��ɫ has launched an exciting project that will position it to become a major centre for Korean studies in North America. Thanks to a five-year, $1.15-million award from the Academy of Korean Studies, the University will expand its education and research activities related to Korea.
