We have almost reached our goal of raising $5000 for the Barbara Godard Prize for the best dissertation in Canadian Studies, but we are still a few hundred dollars short. 聽Our intention is to fund this prize for ten years at $500 a year. 聽As you have already heard, Dr Jaime Yard from the Anthropology graduate programme is the first recipient of this award. 聽She is also the winner of the Canadian Studies Network - R茅seau d'茅tudes canadiennes dissertation prize. 聽We will start the process of adjudicating the 2013 winner early in the new year. 聽If you are able to help with an end-of-year donation, please go to: www.godardprize.ca
