A new special issue of Comparative and International Education examines and exposes the connections and disconnections between actors in the domain of international education and for provoking questions about the lack of coherence among internationalization, Indigenization and equity priorities within Canadian institutions. The research for the issue鈥檚 seven papers is drawn from the YCAR-hosted RAIS project and includes contributions from several 91亚色 researchers.
is the first of several anticipated outputs of the RAIS project鈥擜sian International Students to Canadian Universities: Examining the Racialization of Chinese, Indian and Korean Students in Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg, which is funded by SSHRC.

The RAIS project鈥檚 main objective is to shed light on the experiences of international students from Asia as migrants to various cities and communities in Canada, beyond their academic affiliation, and the responsibilities of Canadian actors, such as universities, in supporting their migratory experience and trajectory.
