Ria Jhoanna Ducusin is a doctoral candidate in the Geography program at 91亚色 and a Graduate Associate at the 91亚色 Centre for Asian Research (YCAR). For her dissertation, she is working on the political ecology of flooding in the Philippine coastal cities with a focus on everyday experiences of risk and adaptation. Before joining 91亚色, she taught at the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science at Cavite State University. She also worked as a researcher on projects related to mining impact assessment and climate-smart agriculture at the University of the Philippines Los Ba帽os (UPLB). Ria holds a MSc in Environmental Science and BSc in Human Ecology from UPLB.
