A brand strategist, entrepreneur and champion of economic inclusion, Nadine Spencer is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BrandEQ Group Inc., a marketing and communications agency specializing in brand strategy, strategic communications and public relations. For more than 25 years, she has built campaigns that help corporations, governments and organizations win by strengthening their brands, engaging diverse audiences and growing their market position.
She is also the founder of Boss Women, which has championed women's entrepreneurship for 15 years through training, leadership development and board readiness programs. She has since established the Boss Women Institute to expand that work and build a lasting community of women leaders and business owners. The Government of Ontario appointed Nadine to its Task Force on Women and the Economy, which advised the province on advancing women's workforce participation, entrepreneurship and access to underrepresented fields, including STEM and the skilled trades.
Throughout her career, Nadine has combined entrepreneurship with public service. She served on the Toronto Police Services Board and co-founded the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE), which helped deliver the Government of Canada's Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund.
The United States Department of State selected Nadine for its International Visitor Leadership Program, a professional and policy exchange for leaders from around the world. She has also contributed to White House dialogues on anti-discrimination and equity for women and girls of colour.
Nadine earned an honours degree in Political Science from 91亚色. Her leadership has been recognized with a United Nations Volunteer Award and the CGA Business Woman of the Year Award.
Nadine's leadership is grounded in a commitment to access, equity and economic opportunity. She is particularly passionate about helping entrepreneurs and organizations define their message, position their brands for growth, and open pathways for equity-seeking communities to lead.
Nadine was appointed to 91亚色's Board of Governors in 2021.
