Please share the following with your teams. Service Maintenance: Central Print Management
Scheduled Maintenance Window:
Start: Wednesday October 15, 2025 9:00 a.m.
End: Friday October 17, 2025 5:00 p.m.
Impact/Details:
Improve security on shared print queues hosted on the central print servers.
Privileges will be exclusively granted via central Active Directory security groups. "Everyone" group will no longer be allowed.
Each Faculty IT will receive a list of printers and print queues that UIT host on the central print management service.
List will be attached as a service ticket for your review. You may wish to follow up via the same service ticket before Friday October 10 to:
request deletion of print queues that are no longer in service.
adjust shared access privileges.
Each Faculty IT manage their own AD security groups to shared print queues. Please use this opportunity to review and update your AD security group memberships.
