Unified Apple Device Management w/ Jamf

Impact/Details:

• UIT teams will transition single sign-on (SSO) for Jamf IT administrators from SAML-Based to OIDC-Based.
• Jamf IT administrators will be required to login with their Entra privileged account to access the new Jamf administrative portal on .
• OIDC-Based SSO streamlines the login experience across all Jamf products to simplify administration, enhance security and accelerate workflows. It enables access to some Jamf platform capabilities and services, such as Blueprints that automate device setups and Compliance Benchmarks that maintain security and standards, plus an AI Assistant that delivers actionable, environment-aware insights.
• Change does not affect the standard workflows to enroll and manage a device in Jamf.
• Change does not affect the end-user experience.
