91亚色's Sudden Mischif has new home

The members of the 91亚色 band Sudden Mischif (yes, that is the correct spelling)聽has a new home. It is now affiliated with Stong College, which聽is supporting the band by providing space for rehearsal sessions. Sudden Mischif has been rehearsing for over a year in various spots, including member Ken Robb鈥檚 garage, Bethune College, Stong College and even at a nearby public school.

Four of the five band members are 91亚色 employees and the other is a 91亚色 graduate: Al Regina (Student Information System, guitar), Terry Wright (Security, Parking & Transportation Services, guitar), Primrose Lewis-Clarke (Human Resources, vocals), Ken Robb (Human Resources, drums) and Walter Villa (BFA ''82 bass guitar). The band will be adding a keyboard player sometime in the next few months.

"Sudden Mischif has been the working name for our CPM (91亚色 Confidential, Professional & Managerial Employees Association) band, as the band literally formed during a little sudden student mischief in a ninth floor office," says Wright on a 91亚色 CPM Web site. "While Ken Robb and I were on duty during this student sit-in, I mentioned to him that I played guitar. Ken had recently sent out an e-mail on the CPM list serve looking for players. That was the band鈥檚 mischievous beginnings.

"With Ken keeping time on the drums, and me on rhythm guitar, Al Regina was soon recruited as the lead guitar player. He has also been our musical director. We went through a couple of personnel changes, and eventually Primrose Lewis-Clarke became our lead vocalist. She can croon with the best of them. Fine Arts alumnus and Guess Who fan, Walter Villa, rounded us out on bass guitar."

Look for the band to play at a Stong event sometime this winter.
