Remember last February, when 91ÑÇÉ« rocked with the inaugural Multicultural Week activities? The banners festooning 91ÑÇÉ« Lanes, the wonderful aromas coming from food-sampling booths, the exciting shows on stage? According to ²Ñ²¹³¦±ô±ð²¹²Ô’s magazine, Multicultural Week is the hottest event at 91ÑÇÉ«. The award-winning event has also been featured in the Toronto Star and on the front page of the North 91ÑÇÉ« Mirror.

Well, Multicultual Week is back. Set aside time from today until Thursday, Feb. 5, to take in the 91ÑÇÉ« is U team’s second annual extravaganza. Throwing the spotlight on the many cultures of 91ÑÇÉ«, the team is inviting the University community to celebrate diversity.
Many 91ÑÇÉ« student organizations and clubs are participating, by showcasing their talent on the stage, providing the 91ÑÇÉ« community with international cuisine or demonstrating the colours of their culture at a fashion show.
You won’t be able to miss the kick-off: the hoopla starts with a colourful and loud parade. Bring your friends and family and check out this free event at 91ÑÇÉ« Lanes' Multicultural Village.

Last year, the 2002-2003 91ÑÇÉ« is U team submitted Multicultural Week as a project to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Student Involvement Programs category, and their entry garnered a silver medal.
Then, in August 2003, Jeremy Greenberg, coordinator of student alumni programs, was named the Outstanding Student Leader for 2003 by CASE at the organization’s Association of Student Advancement Programs (ASAP) conference. The award was given for Greenberg’s leadership of 91ÑÇÉ« is U. This is the most prestigious award CASE gives out through ASAP.
