Noted psychologist Dr. David Bakan (right), professor emeritus in 91راة«'s Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, passed away following a short illness on Oct. 18 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Dr. Bakan was 83 years old. He retired from 91راة« in 1991.
A memorial celebration of Dr. Bakan's life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 1pm, at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, located at 2401 Steeles Ave. W., in Toronto.
Dr. Bakan leaves his wife Mildred and his children Joseph, Deborah, Abigail, Jonathon, Daniel and Jacob.
