407 ETR has made a $125,000 donation to 91亚色 that will support students studying at the graduate level for years to come.
To show their appreciation to the thousands of 91亚色 students, staff and faculty who use 407 ETR, the company has made a gift to the 91亚色 Foundation, establishing an endowed fund to support the newly created 407 ETR Graduate Student Award. Starting this fall, $5,000 will be matched two-to-one by the Ontario Graduate Scholarship Program, providing a total of $15,000 to a student in the Faculty of Graduate Studies each year.
"407 ETR is used by thousands of students, staff and faculty every day," said Antonio de Santiago, president & CEO of 407 ETR. "Providing a scholarship for decades to come that will benefit students is our way of saying thanks. We also recognize the importance of education to better our community. To do that, however, students need to focus on their studies, not how they'll pay for it."
