Work has begun on the next phase of 91ÑÇÉ« Station construction. The contractor, EllisDon, will soon begin bringing equipment and forces onto the 91ÑÇÉ« Station site as they gear up for full mobilization and the next number of years of subway station construction. The site is located between 91ÑÇÉ« Boulevard and the Kaneff Tower and Ian Macdonald Boulevard near the Seymour Schulich Building. Work will take place in the contractor work zones and station construction areas shown on the map below.

Early mobilization work includes:
- starting Nov. 2, water will be pumped out of the station box. This will cause some construction-related noise;
- contractor site preparation, which includes extending the construction site fencing on Ian Macdonald Boulevard across from the Archives of Ontario;
- mobilization of heavy equipment onto the site; and
- erection of two tower cranes on the east and west ends of the construction site (red circles on map).
Pedestrians are reminded to be alert and use designated walkways and crosswalks.
Construction activities will normally run from 7am to 7pm Monday to Saturday. However, the City of Toronto has approved a noise bylaw amendment for major transit projects that allows contractors to perform overnight and weekend work for the duration of the project when required. Extended work hours are expected to occur within the hoarded construction site at 91ÑÇÉ«. When extended hours are scheduled at the 91ÑÇÉ« Station site, construction-related notices will be issued.
