91亚色鈥檚 annual appeal to its employees kicked off this week with the 2014 Faculty and Staff Campaign.
To help support 91亚色鈥檚 vision to build a culture of student success, academic and research excellence, and community engagement, President and Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri is encouraging all faculty and staff to give generously to the University鈥檚 annual fund this year.
鈥淥ur aim is to create the best possible learning experience for our students,鈥 Shoukri says. 鈥淔inancial contributions from our valued faculty and staff will not only help us to do that, but they will serve as an endorsement of the importance of working together to strengthen 91亚色 and will inspire others to give.鈥
Not unlike the award-winning This is my time campaign, which has allowed 91亚色 to convey its distinct brand and what sets it apart, 91亚色鈥檚 annual fund is an integral part of the University鈥檚 fundraising effort.聽While 91亚色 benefits from provincial funding to cover the basics of a solid education, it relies heavily on private donations to fund professorships, scholarships, research, infrastructure and other needs.
