
Glendon Gallery will present the fifth edition of Glendon Students Visual Arts Competition Exhibit from Jan. 20Ìýto 31. The exhibit will include original works of art from almost 40 students in a variety of media, including acrylic and oil paint on canvas and glass, watercolours, drawings, sketches, mixed media and photographs.
The opening reception will take place Tuesday, Jan. 20, from 5:30 to 8:30pm in the gallery. Everyone is invited to come to the Glendon Gallery to see and enjoy what inspires the students. Refreshments will be served.
Five prizesÌýwill be awarded as follows during the opening reception:
- First Prize: Vice Provost, Students, 91ÑÇÉ« ($250)
- Second Prize: Office of the Principal of Glendon College ($200)
- Third Prize: Friends of Glendon ($175)
- Fourth Prize: Office of the Associate Principal, Student Services, Glendon College ($150)
- Fifth Prize: Glendon College Student Union ($100)

The Glendon Gallery operates within the Division of Student Services at Glendon College, 91ÑÇÉ«, under the direction of Rosanna Furgiuele.
Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday from noon to 3pm, and Saturday from 1 to 4pm.
