Students can study abroad this summer

The Department of Political Science will offer a “study abroadâ€‌ six credit 91راة« course during the summer term. The course – open to any 91راة« undergraduate student with at least 60 credits – will take place in Seoul, South Korea, during May and June.

The course is on contemporary South Korea with a focus on population aging in the context of rapid social change. There will be extensive opportunities for the 91راة« students to meet and interact with students from and in Seoul. 91راة« students will meet with several government officials, civil society groups, organizations representing youth and the elderly, and others.

The course is a unique opportunity for students with an interest in social welfare, social change, the politics of youth and old age, as well as East Asia. Students from all programs at 91راة« are welcome in the course, which is designed to allow students to explore a topic of interest related to the themes of the course.

91راة« provides bursaries for students to participate in a study abroad course. Accommodation (in downtown Seoul), expeditions and some other expenses are included in the program fee.
