The 91ÑÇÉ« community came together on Saturday, March 28 to celebrate the University’s fifth annual TEDx91ÑÇÉ«U conference.
Eleven speakers and performances from the University’s faculty, alumni, students and staff created ideas that ricocheted off one another, encouraging a ping-pong effect of thoughtful conversation.
This year’s group of presenters addressed a wide range of topics including: the importance of self-awareness and self-confidence, health and the impact that unleashing one’s full potential can have on a community.
Those in attendance also had the privilege of experiencing a moving performance of musical spoken word, a dazzling dance routine and spectacular drum circle.
The TEDx91ÑÇÉ«U experience was felt worldwide with more than 250 people in attendance, hundreds more live streaming and over 30 thousand social impressions.
The organizing committee and volunteer team comprised of students, staff, faculty and alumni made TEDx91ÑÇÉ«U possible. They were assisted by Community and Alumni Relations, Student Community & Leadership Development, 91ÑÇÉ« Learning Technology Services, the Lassonde School of Engineering and ABEL.
