Vice-President Research & Innovation Robert Hach茅聽has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between 91亚色 and Radboud University Nijmegen on behalf of the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition & Behaviour. The MOU solidifies the existing research relationship and provides a framework for further collaboration in the areas of vision research and the neuroscience of perception and action, and their applications in health, computer science and robotics.
鈥淭he Donders Institute has been a key partner to 91亚色 and their support has been instrumental to advancing vision research,鈥 said Hach茅. 鈥淲e highly value our relationship with the Donders Institute and look forward to strengthening our ties on further initiatives through the memorandum of understanding.鈥
The MOU focuses on active support for visiting scientists and students. It includes identification and pursuit of large-scale funding opportunities for multiple institutions and articulates support for each partner's funding, research and training initiatives whenever needed.
The MOU was signed by Hach茅 and Professor Guill茅n Fernandez, chair of the Donders'聽Board of Directors, on Monday, May 11, at Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition & Behaviour is a world-class research centre devoted to understanding the mechanistic underpinnings of human cognition and behaviour in health and disease. The institute is home to more than 600 researchers from 35 countries who share the common goal of contributing to the advancement of the brain, cognitive and behavioural sciences through investigator-driven research, and improving health, education and technology by applying advances in this field.
