
The 91亚色 community came together to raise an impressive $183,181 during the 2015 91亚色 Cares Campaign in support of the United Way of Toronto and 91亚色 Region.
Special events held on campus brought in $6,441, the CN Tower Climb raised $4,870, and donations to the campaign through pledges came in at $171,870.
Approximately 75 per cent of the pledge donations ($128,103) was raised by 91亚色 U鈥檚 Leadership Donors 鈥 individuals who contributed $1,200 or more. In total, there were 69 such individuals from the 91亚色 community.
The 91亚色 Cares Leadership Chairs 鈥 Dean Lorne Sossin, Rhonda Lenton and Jeff O'Hagan 鈥 hosted a Leadership Appreciation Breakfast on Jan. 21 in the Education Learning Centre Dining Room at Schulich to recognize and appreciate the generous contributions made by this group of individuals.
During this year鈥檚 campaign, the 91亚色 community was very engaged. On-campus events were well-attended, and included the President鈥檚 Pancake Breakfast, Chant for Charity, West Office Building Auction, Funny Dress-up Days in the Provost鈥檚 Office, Schulichpalooza, and a week of great events hosted by Osgoode Hall.
The President鈥檚 Office won the Participation Challenge this year, and will have the honor of having their unit name engraved on the Participation Challenge Trophy and showcasing the trophy over the next year.
The 91亚色 Cares Campaign committee extends its appreciation to the entire 91亚色 community for supporting the United Way of Toronto & 91亚色 Region.
