Canadian writers will visit 91亚色 to read from their works, share insights and spark discussion on the written word beginning Sept. 20 and running through to March 21, 2017.
Ten authors are scheduled to present readings for the 18th annual Canadian Writers in Person Lecture Series, a popular event presented by the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS).
Emerging and established writers will present their work, answer questions from the audience and participate in discussions. There will also be a book signing opportunity.
The series runs as part of a degree credit course on Canadian literary culture through the LA&PS Culture & Expression program. Members of the 91亚色 community not enrolled in the course can also enjoy the readings, which are free and open to the public.
All readings are held on Tuesdays from 7 to 10pm at 206 Accolade West Building.
This year鈥檚 lineup will feature a unique selection of writers who explore a diverse range of topics and geographical and cultural landscapes. Authors include poets, playwrights, fiction writers and more.
