Moving from the Twitterverse to a real-life meetup, some 50 members of the 91亚色 community got together offline for the third #YUTweetup held at the University.

The social event on Sept. 29 was held at the Glendon campus as part of the University鈥檚 . It had an added dimension because this year marks Glendon鈥檚 .
Held in Glendon鈥檚 Centre of Excellence, the Tweetup was co-hosted by 91亚色 President & Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri and Glendon Principal Donald Ipperciel.
鈥淚t was wonderful to have the opportunity to celebrate Red & White Day with the community at our beautiful Glendon campus,鈥 said Shoukri. 鈥淚 often say that Glendon is one of the jewels in 91亚色鈥檚 crown, and each time I visit I am reminded why.鈥
The #YUTweetup offered a chance for the president and principal to meet with faculty, staff and students. It also brought together colleagues from both campuses who frequently collaborate on events and University initiatives but don鈥檛 always have a chance to get together in person. The event also served as a mini-reunion for Glendon alumni who now work at the Keele campus, as they had the opportunity to visit with former classmates and co-workers.
