In a new video released Tuesday, Feb. 21 to the 91ÑÇÉ« community Rick Waugh, chair of the Presidential Search Committee and chair of the Board of Governors, joins Presidential Search Committee members to discuss the values of 91ÑÇɫ’s culture that are guiding the search for the next president.
91ÑÇÉ« undergraduate student Dalubuhle Ndlovu, who is enrolled in Human Rights and Equity Studies, and Faculty of Education Associate Professor Roopa Trilokekar, join in the discussion.
In December 2015, 91ÑÇÉ« embarked on an extensive and comprehensive search for the next president. The search is being conducted by a 14-member committee comprised of representatives from the University Senate and the Board of Governors and is guided by the , which was established in 2005 by these two governance bodies.
The search process included broad consultations across the University community about 91ÑÇɫ’s strategic needs and the specific attributes the next president should possess in order to meet those needs.
