Join the 91ÑÇÉ« Chamber Choir as they perform part of Handel’s epic masterpiece The Messiah (Part 1) on Nov. 7, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Grace Church on-the-Hill, 300 Lonsdale Rd., Toronto.
The 91ÑÇÉ« Chamber Choir will be led by Lisette Canton, conductor, and Matthew Larkin, organist.
Canton, an associate professor in 91ÑÇÉ«'s Department of Music, is a choral and orchestral conductor, vocal coach and technician, adjudicator, workshop leader and early music specialist. As head of choral conducting at 91ÑÇÉ«, she directs four ensembles – Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, Women’s Chorus and Men’s Chorus – and oversees graduate studies in choral music.
